Human Resources Committee Meeting – November

This Accessibility Works presentation is focused on the AODA employment standard requirements for recruitment, assessment and selection. It goes over what the law requires, some best practices, and provides information about tools and resources that businesses can access. This presentation will help businesses understand their obligations under the AODA when it comes to accommodating candidates during the recruitment, interviewing, selection and hiring process.

About Accessibility Works:
Accessibility Works is an initiative of the OCC that has been providing presentations for chambers across Ontario since 2010. We inform businesses about their obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) in order to help members understand Ontario’s accessibility laws and what they need to do to comply. Accessibility Works offers in person workshops as well as a series of webinars focusing on the AODA Employment Standard. Accessibility Works is an EnAbling Change Project with the Government of Ontario.
