Hamilton Arts Council, founded in 1969 by artists, politicians and community leaders, has been a driving force behind the arts in Ontario since its incorporation in 1973. As one of the province’s longest-serving arts councils, we advocate for the arts as integral to a healthy community, and provide inclusive opportunities to build connection and sustainability.
