Canadian Chamber of Commerce to PM Trudeau: Four critical Public Policy issues facing Canadian Businesses
· by Huzaifa Saeed
Recent world events underscore that the regional and global economic order will be tested in 2017 and beyond. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce network welcomes recent Cabinet changes and look forward to working with government to ensure Canada successfully navigates the challenges ahead for the benefit of our economy and all Canadians.
In that spirit, the CCC Board of Directors wrote to the Prime Minister to offer its perspectives on four critical public policy issues:
- Canada’s Relationship with the United States
- Growing our Economy
- Our National Strategy Concerning International Trade
- Combating Climate Change
These four issues form, according to our the CCC Board, the cornerstones of the next 150 years of Canadian business success.
